Facebook Pixel: Meta muss sich Klage wegen Gesundheitsdatensammlung stellen

Meta muss sich einer Sammelklage aufgrund der von Facebook Pixel gesammelten Gesundheitsdaten stellen. Einen Klageabweisungsantrag von Seiten Metas wurde bereits von einem US-Richter abgelehnt.
Die Klage wirft vor, dass Facebook Pixel zahlreiche Gesundheitsdaten von Patienten auf den Patientenportalen von Gesundheitsdienstleistern gesammelt hat. Dies würde unabhängig von geltenden Datenschutzgesetzen auch gegen die Datenschutzrichtlinien von Meta selbst verstoßen.
